NP3 is het plateau voor experiment, innovatie en artistiek onderzoek in de hedendaagse kunst, met een sterke focus op het terugdringen van de ecologische voetafdruk. NP3 biedt specifiek-op-maat, individuele ontwikkeltrajecten voor kunstenaars van alle leeftijden en alle disciplines. Kunstenaars werken zonder de druk van een vooraf geformuleerd tijdpad, doel of resultaat aan een specifiek onderzoek, project of presentatie. Deze worden ontwikkeld op drie unieke fysieke locaties in de stad Groningen, met ieder een eigen architectuur, functie en uitstraling. De ‘white cube’ RE:Search:Gallery, het interactieve multimediaprogramma eMMa in de videobusstop van Rem Koolhaas, en de industriële containerkunsthal MOBi op het Suikerterrein, met de royale installatietuin MOBi Square Garden.
NP3 is a platform for experimentation, innovation, and artistic research in contemporary art, with a strong focus on reducing the ecological footprint. NP3 offers tailored, individual development trajectories for artists of all ages and disciplines. Artists are given the freedom to work on a specific research project, artistic project, or presentation without the pressure of a predefined timeline, objective, or outcome. These projects are developed across three unique physical locations in the city of Groningen, each with its own architecture, function, and character: the ‘white cube’ RE:Search:Gallery, the interactive multimedia programme eMMa in Rem Koolhaas’s video bus stop, and the industrial container art space MOBi at the Suikerterrein, featuring the spacious installation garden MOBi Square Garden.
